Mickelson Clarified Dictionary of New Testament Greek, McT : A Hebraic-Koine Greek to English Dictionary of the Textus Receptus, the 1550 Stephanus

Description

This biblical reference dictionary reconciles biblical English vocabulary with biblical Greek vocabulary in order to assure the highest degree of conceptual integrity while maintaining English word consistency with the Greek text itself. The companion reference translation uses this vocabulary to reveal the fullness of the biblical Hebraic-Koine Greek, along with using enhanced grammar and punctuation. The Mickelson Clarified Translation was hand-translated into an easily readable English dialect that preserves the distinct concepts and contextual meanings used in the Hebraic biblical Greek text. This translation carefully interweaves biblical patterns of speech and communication into modern English. The benefit is a more accurate presentation and correlation of biblical thoughts, concepts and instructions. Through the use of this dictionary, one will learn biblical Greek words and concepts along with associated Hebraic concepts and eternal spiritual truths. However, in order to truly enjoy a fuller understanding of the richness and clarity of God's Word, the student should embrace both biblical Greek and Hebrew as specially selected languages. This clarified Greek dictionary and its clarified companion translation were created to help one move beyond the traditional limitations of English translation. One may readily partake more fully of the written conversation. The purpose is "to bring the English-speaking person to the Word of God, not the Word of God to the English-speaking person." That is, by using a clarified biblical English vocabulary, to bring the person up toward the fullness of the Holy Scriptures, and not to diminish the Holy Scriptures by diluting it down toward various cultural, transient, and generational mindsets.

The most enduring challenge to traditional monotheism is the problem of evil, which attempts to reconcile three incompatible propositions: God is all-good, God is all-powerful, and evil happens. The Prince of This World traces the story of one of the most influential attempts to square this circle: the offloading of responsibility for evil onto one of God's rebellious creatures. In this striking reexamination, the devil's story is bitterly ironic, full of tragic reversals. He emerges as a theological symbol who helps oppressed communities cope with the trauma of unjust persecution, torture, and death at the hands of political authorities and eventually becomes a vehicle to justify oppression Mickelson Clarified Dictionary of New Testament Greek, McT : A Hebraic-Koine Greek to English Dictionary of the Textus Receptus, the 1550 Stephanus pdf at the hands of Christian rulers. And he evolves alongside the biblical God, who at first presents himself as the liberator of the oppressed but ends up a cruel ruler who delights in the infliction of suffering on his friends and enemies alike. In other words, this is the story of how God becomes the devil-a devil who remains with us in our ostensibly secular age.
